Great. Maybe their basketball ban will start once they start playing in the ACC.

i seriously don't understand why college kids should be banned from playing if they smoke some weed

couldnt happen to a nicer and cleaner program! and to think all they do over on their board is talk about uconn's program!

I wonder if this could be enough of a distraction to have an impact on the Cuse. If UConn can find a way to beat DePaul and Marquette again, maybe they can catch an Orange team distracted by this controversy. Wishful thinking maybe.

I doubt it.

They're passed out in their dorm rooms surrounded by empty Twinkie wrappers. Nothing can distract them.

Look at it from my perspective - I seriously don't understand why there is any law at all regarding what a grown man should be able to put in his own body. You want to eat it, drink it, snort it, pop it, inject it, stick it up your anus - - - that is a right you should have, with no restrictions.
On the other hand, private institutions and private companies should have the right to screen for whatever they want - if they don't want to hire people who drink alcohol, that's ok with me.

Regardless of anyone's stance on pot (I'm personally pro legalization), it's still illegal at the end of the day. With that knowledge, and the knowledge the institution you attend has strict rules against drugs, it is extremely foolish and ill-sighted to partake in such activities. Especially if you play for an elite Div I school. That being said, college kids will be college kids and make mistakes. It's just a lack of the school's enforcement of its own policies that are to blame here.
