new VIP seats?

I'm not sure about PR, but I thought it was funny how all the seats were empty during the first half....and then were magically filled right after UConn made their run...

From what I have heard, they are available to people in the "Legends" level of donations in the Husky Club. As of now, you cannot get season tickets in those seats.

I was surprised it took them this long to do that. Most of the bigger programs moved to this a few years ago. Actually looks a bit better on TV because you have more fans getting into it right around the court. Drummond was nearly high-fiving a few of the guys over there after one of his dunks.

I don't know what seats you were looking at in the first half but the vip seats were all occupied for most of the first half.

Walking through the parking garage, there is a special place for them to park.

They were almost all filled before tip, not sure where you were looking.

I guess I can't vouch for their emptiness the whole first half, as I was watching the game, but I distinctly recall game action going on, and seeing a row of empty gray, padded chairs on the side of the court (left from the student section). A couple of us were wondering why they weren't filled, so I wasn't the only one who noticed this.
