well they had 25A, 4TO and 27A, 5TO in the two games. Don't know if that's a record of some sort but it's damned impressive!!
Very close....the 9 turnovers in 2 consecutive games has never been done before. The four turnovers against USF was second only to a 3 turnover game years ago. The 5 turnover game tied for third best ever. Of course the stat of 52 assists and 9 turnovers for two games is amazing and might be a record for A/T but don't have a way of verifying.
Actually, one of the most impressive stats is that in those two games , Crystal Dangerfield had 16 assists and just one turnover. I'm relatively certain that has never been done by a freshman and maybe not an upperclassman in UCONN history. She is the real deal.
ps...the play where she missed a corner jumper but followed her miss with a rebound, dribbled toward the basket, saw nothing and dribbled out to the top of the key to start over was a play that puts a smile on any coaches face.
