im disappointed in this place. You all don’t want to talk basketball and evaluate the game, you all want to play favorites and just latch onto your favorite players like kids with trading cards. I’m kind of over this place.

Well was replying to your points. I didn't express entirely what I would see. But --

1--- I don't believe you lose patience with Azzi game 2 of season vs ICE. I didn’t reference CD or Nika - I specifically had issue with your mention of Azzi vs ICE. That doesn't mean I wouldn't want a change.

2-- If UCONN shoots 50% from three and they are healthy, nobody beats them. Nobody. If UCONN is healthy, the opposing team isn't that "dominant" to overcome a 50% from 3 onslaught. If UCONN is shooting 31.8% from 3, ofc they can't sustain being the type of quality team they want to be by playing small.

3-- I felt Aubrey should have started at PF but based on what Geno said that this year he is going to use her in 3/4 minute spurts; I question her health.

4-- I don't know about starting Caroline. Based on an interview with her we saw earlier this season she said bright lights and noise bother her. Not sure how much of an impact this can cause her. But many more 14 minutes 2 points, no rebounds and no assists won't cut it.

We'll see how next games go.

Your video commentary is priceless! It made me laugh and I appreciate that very much. However, I do agree that Caroline seems to get lost out there so far this season. In other posts I have explained why I believe this is happening, so I won't repeat myself here. I just hope she finds her beautiful game soon.

Me, too. And this is why I hope she continues to start games. This is the best way for her to find that beautiful game.

Seems the most effective cohesive lineup tonight was Ice, Edward's, Ashlyn, Kk and Paige. They changed the moment of the game. Paige, Kk and Shade weren't scared and were capable of attacking the basket.
It dont seem like the others have change of direction movement to the basket that these three have. Without it it makes you one dimensional.

Not suggesting we throw out the baby with the bathwater, but this team lacks athleticism and quickness. It reminds me of Geno's joke about Maria Conlon... "well she's short, but she's also slow".

I get that we lack size, but against State, it wasn't the post players who killed us. It was the guards who seemed to zip past us all game long. Baldwin and Collins (their starting forwards) combined for 14 total points. Maybe starting the game out with a more athletic look will work better? Flip side to that - we won the first quarter with our normal starting 5, so who knows?? But especially after seeing this game, how Geno decided to start Caroline over Aubrey is a mystery to me.

To be honest, I'm not oppose to starting KK over Azzi either. So far, if Azzi isn't hitting her 3, she's a liability on the floor. Trying NOT to let knee jerk frustration dominate the starting 5 decision, but I'm so confused about this team. Thoughts?

Well, he just committed to her starting again on Sunday. He said he expects there will be games that she's on and plays 38 minutes. Maybe just maybe Geno sees things in practice we don't and truly thinks she can be a 20 PPG type scorer. It's in there. We saw it Freshman year.

It's not gonna happen . She has no handle, can't rebound , she cherry picks quite a bit . Shed be luck to average 10. With her length she should get at least 6 to 8 on put backs.

I think she deserves to start,Geno has a good feel for her. As he said if it looks like she struggling he has options. Down the road he possibly could try her off the bench to ease her in. A solid heathy CD is the goal and that’s a huge plus for our squad……. Just my two cents
