So I went shopping with my mom and sister yesterday at Ross and picked up this shirt.
I've seen it before online, it's usually at least $30 or more I bought it for $13. Literally a steal ;)

Nice shirt Katie! Sounds to me like a case of "clothing destiny", it was the only shirt there and it was your size and at a great price. Good for you!

The shirt was originally $30 I paid $13, so I saved $17. Sorry for not clarifying.
Talk about not being clear...guilty. Actually I was making a poorly worded rip on your "Literally a steal" explanation, meaning that if you literally stole the shirt you saved the $13 purchase price. No offense, just me confusing poor taste and humor...again.

Ha thanks! I'm pretty sure no one tries to shoplift there because there's a security guard right by the door.

Inspired by Katie's great shirt, I had the a slightly different version made.

Impressed by the great shirt Katie found, I had the following made:

I went to Bob's (Hamden) to get a couple of UConn shirts for Fathers' Day. Very little except for a few tank tops which don't match my seventy year old :} Surely thought they would have stuff and disappointed.

That's really cool! I like it.
Katie, because you posted the shirt that gave me the idea, I had one made up for you. If you PM me (could not find a PM for you, hence this post) with an address, I will send it to you (don't worry, 70's guy on the East Coast, and I don't mean the 1970's decade). If it does not fit, and it probably won't, you could always tack it to the wall or fly it as a flag. :)

An XL will be on its way Monday morning. My first job out of college was as a field engineer for PG&E, building a substation in your home town (or at least trying to figure out how to build a substation. Good thing the Foreman of the construction crew took pity on me.)

Thanks! My hometown is actually in the South, but California has been my home since I was 4.
