Most of the people left to go, including me, were upper bowl people. The remaining seats are in the upper bowl.
I'm going at 12:00 and I was in 111. Will be landing in the end zone lower bowl. precious few left.

They could have handled the forever seats issue in a far better manner than the did, but in the end it still comes down to this being a business and in all candor, if things didn't end up as they had over the past few years (one Boneyarder actually called for Hurley's head at halftime of the Iona game in the 23 tournament) everyone who wanted them would have the same seats for this upcoming season as they had four seasons ago and the price may not have risen by much.

There is a price to pay for success. There is also a price to pay for the changes in the NCAA landscape and the local, national and global economic landscapes. We are seeing all of that here and many are unfortunately bearing the impact.
Maybe it's time for me to do a little research among friends whose teams are in P4 conferences to get some feel for how much they have to donate and how much they pay for tickets so we can have some context here. Or someone else can do it.
My guess is we haven't, as a fan base, been hit as hard for donations, etc. as many of the major players. I know a couple loyal Indiana and Michigan State fans have stopped buying tickets because of age, travel difficulty and getting fed up with the spiraling costs of operating at a high level.........for buying players, paying bloated staffs, building on campus arenas and practice facilities that rival pro league facilities, etc.

I believe each day it is 9-4:30 for the selection window so that folks are available in the ticket office to help
No weekend selection windows? That would make me feel better about my Tuesday window

sure they made more, but I'd like to know how much percentage wise.
Probably a lot more. Also I could be wrong but to do the gampel renovations that are happening in 2026 I think the state is making UConn raise x amount more each year. Have no idea if thats tied into this as well

I got moved back in both Gampel and XL. Not by much but didn't have the chance to keep my seats.

I was in 111 in Hartford. Just wrapped it up I knew my seats were part of the student section so I went on the opposite side section 123 two rows lower in the same two aisle seat

Seems like everyone is basically in the same seats or slightly worse, except Chief, who is still working on the class action. Hope everyone is in the building, at least

No one, especially including you, have explained the near 50% of the lower bowl seats gone before the Priority Point Selection. Most were not Premier Seats, player family seats, coaches families, visiting team seats.
So who did these go to and why? Were donations paid for these seats? Did Seat Geeks get some payoff in seats?

Ok Jesse Ventura, calm down. “Seat Geeks” is not getting a payoff in premium seats (???)

Again- you don’t know how many seats are held for those groups. You say you do, but you don’t. No hard numbers. You’ve just decided to be MADDDDD

At Gampel, there are very few left in the lower bowl. There's plenty in the upper. If you are used to the lower, the upper is a large downgrade. Presently this is the lower bowl: (red nothing available, green has spotty seats and aisle seats very few)View attachment 109890

Looks like the entire section 117 is green

After 7 months of stress (and some additional donating), we picked our seats today and I have to say it worked out well for us in Hartford.

Actually got better seats in the same section -- with the big win being that we went from two sets of two tickets a few rows apart to four tickets together. Only downside is we loved being behind the UConn bench/tunnel for our kids to interact with players/coaches and that is now the opposite side (and we would have had to move up considerably to be on that side).

I still can't believe how UConn has handled messaging and relations during this process and feel for all of you who didn't fare so well, but hopefully this gives a little hope to the rest of you still anxiously awaiting your pick.

Just did mine. Same as you. My seats from last year were there 2 hours ago.gone now. At least I am in the building. They can go to hell if they ever do this again. I'll buy random games to go to. Not getting screwed again. All I wanted were my seats back. Aggravated

When they switched to the seat donation model, UConn sent out an email explaining it and giving comparing it to other schools. If what UConn said was true, we had been getting a bargain for many years.

Those repeated demands for more money aren't stopping with the amateur hour circus we've seen this spring. What business sense does it make to alienate your long time base?
Requests, not demands.

As a long time mbb and fb season ticket holder who's been through the implosions of both the mbb and fb programs, this is 100% on point. The casuals and corporates flee to the exits and the people now getting pineappled are the ones who are in those seats as loyal fans.
Respectfully, I would challenge this assertion. A lot of the people I see leaving early are the geriatrics wanting to beat the crowds.

Sure in the scheme of life these are good problems to have. I was fortunate to be in the lower bowl before and I still am. But worse seats are worse seats. I know they are worse seats because they charge less than half what I was paying previously. So I had demonstrated a not-insignificant commitment, and would have been happy to continue at that level. Instead the opportunity is taken away and they are getting half. ¯\(ツ)

By fleeing to exits I mean do not buy tickets and do not attend games.

Today was the Hunger Games. Boneyarders waiting till there afternoon wonder showed up to get what was left of about 20 seats in the lower bowl. Around noon I was traveling that I had about 10 seats left to choose from.

If you pick 3 seats in that section you were referring to, I literally watched the seats I wanted get added to your cart.

I picked from the last 7 seats at 1:47 and I think I watch them get added to someone else cart. At the same time that I was aging my lower bowl end zone tickets. (And I hate end zone seats)

Whoever implied earlier that we were blowing this out of proportion is crazy. We were not. There were slim pickings in the lower sections of both stadiums today. People's Bank center (is that the name?) came down to personal choice but you didn't have a ton of great options.

No. If there is one seat left they show the whole thing green, if you are looking at the big overview.
One seat left is yellow. There were 3 seats in two different sections and 2 sets of 2 in another.

For it to come done to that much left for some of I'm the chat on the same day and time is crazy.

I got screwed in Gampel. As others have said is there only thing making it palettable is that I def have worse seats asv evidence by it being less than half of what I was willing to pay. Those saving went to People's Bank Center tickets to get something that is be happy about in Hartford. Which is good because I didn't realize that my husky value tickets that I thought I was grandfathered into last year were taken away as part of the ticket "process"

Does anyone know when the picking time window for a particular day ends? I pick tomorrow so I was wondering what time tonight I should log on to see what damage was done today.
Ticket office told me ticket selection runs from 9 am-4 pm weekdays only. Obviously people can pick their seats after those hours or on weekends should they choose to do wait after their window opens.

Overall im happy kept comparable seats in both spots and with 3 seats at gampel was able to get a mini 3 seat row which is pretty cool i had awesome seats on the concourse at XL in front of the sportsbook last year but that's now students so knew id have to move i do find it amazing the difference in price between lower corner and one set of stairs over in the lower middle at xl
