new seat selection email?

Gonna let Dan Hurley know his salary should be paid for in loyalty as opposed to cash, I’ll let you know what he says

a) I feel 99.9% I'm going to get tickets and not be bounced completely.
b) I am hoping I keep the same seats (very unlikely) or move 3-5 rows back.
c) End of the day, I'll sit in the last row for a year or so and reassess.

Yeah I loved my spot because it was literally one of the best rows I could have at my level. If I go down 3 rows closer I have to pay like $500+ more a year. I get the realities and that they don't really care about me -- but I bought in during the AAC days and just feel like it's kind of a slap in the face to those who bought then.

Those you kick you when they are at the top cause their customers to have a long memory or a short memory if they kick you from the lower bowl to the upper bowl in which case I say bye-bye. I was hoping to still be in the corner. It is a great spot to watch great defensive teams. We were first in the corner, watching the great Georgetown teams. At some point, they offered midcourt seats, but I never budged. As the other poster said, they sat through those AAC years or even later years in the old Big East, when attendance was starting to dwindle

This really resonates with me - our seats aren't "high roller" seats but we love the location due to being at center court in the lower 200s and being on the aisle. Would have paid more to stay exactly where we are. And like you, we stuck with the program all through the AAC debacle when we couldn't give our extra tickets away AND the athletic department was handing out extra conference game tickets as a season ticket holder thank you. Tickets were worth almost nothing, but we kept buying the season ticket package rather than bargain hunting on the secondary market. One of my primary seat mates is in his mid 80s, so if they kick us up much higher into the 200s we're out, mainly because I worry about him on a lot of stairs.

gave them up when my seatmates declined to pay the increased seat donation a few years ago

It is extremely likely you will be able to get the same seats.
 
Anyone know how many minutes we have before the next selection is open? Seems to me that they've extended the selection process

Based on what I’ve seen with other numbers I would say around 35-40 accounts per day

Based on 7 hours, that would be like 10 to 12 minutes

I think it used to be 5 minutes

Yeah I would say. But the time slot doesn’t really matter as much as the rankings in each venue. You have to think theres all different combos going in front of you. Some that just get MBB, WBB, both, etc.

I agree - you will be able to get "seats" but I think it's very doubtful we will be able to get the same seats we had if we liked what we previously were in. Getting to a similar spot is probably the best anyone can do generally save for a few outliers at the front of the line when everything is wide open
 
I may not get killed too badly. I was eligible for better than what I had so maybe I'll still be around the same level after those that jump ahead. But I'm sure I won't get my my prized wide seats back. I have an appointment with the cardiologist next week. I think I'll ask about Mounjaro.

And where are these wide seat backs... If they are lower bowl they'll be gone after the remodel.

I am picking seats for both men and women and in both arenas. So people behind me might run me over, and I don't blame them either
