There were 3 players from LSU to make SEC All- Academic team. ADR was the only one from LSU’s team whose name I recognized. Good for her.

In other news, the players in the SEC are just playing musical chairs.
The others from LSU were probably majoring in NIL studies!

Earlier Kimpson signed with Miami.

Bracken just signed with Molly Miller and the Sun Devils. She's joined by Jojo as Molly Miller has been very busy filling the roster.

I know Lindy is out on the trail scouring for replacements.

I will admit I'm a little nervous at the lack of announcements from Flagstaff as new coach Laura Dinkins works to fill a roster that was left with one returner Audrey Taylor and three high School signees.

I wonder if Q would benefit from transferring to a program where she could perhaps sit out a year, get acclimated to the new team/program, continue to work on developing skills, and then roll right into a starting role for her last two years. Similar to Courtney Ekmark having to sit out a year before starting at ASU her final two seasons. Thoughts?

That ship has sailed for most players, as now that they are immediately eligible, I would guess that most would not want to sit a whole season. It's hard enough when they are forced (injuries) to do so.

Someday I would be curious to hear about what it’s like to be a coach at one of these places picking up 6 or 7 players regularly.

When you have a big frosh class, at least those players are ones that you’ve known for years so you already have a personal relationship, not to mention you’ve had a lot of time to think about how the player fits in to your style of play. And the recruits may have already interacted with each other.

This is a completely different animal. The players do have college experience so there’s less getting them up to speed but still you’re pulling together 7 transfers, a few HS recruits, and a few returners and trying to meld them together. Not even pro teams have that kind of turnover.

Not to derail the thread, however this would be a great Geno masterclass topic (after he retires) where he could explain his process and why it worked at UConn, and also have other coaches discuss why they went this route.

How about the coach who regularly loses seven-nine players? Starting over every year.

Such are the times we are living in. Who has time for slow courtship when you can just jump on Tinder (or Portal) for instant acquisition.

I'd love to have Q here in Tempe. Not sure she's demonstrated enough defense for Molly Miller however.

I think she has made a mistake here. This is not the situation I envisioned when I was championing for her to leave South Carolina. This is a usage lateral move imo. I wish her luck though.

And one thing is for sure. LSU versus South Carolina will be box office next season.
