Since the Big Dance is essentially a new season, I think we need some new rules to go with. I have a couple of suggestions.
1. If Gibbs has an open three with his feet set off the catch, fire away. Off the dribble, do not shoot. Corollary: prefer he not have the ball in his hands with less than 5 seconds on the shot clock.
2. That play where the 5 hedges high and accomplishes nothing except opening the hoop for an uncontested dunk should be retired permanently.
