New Rivals Class of 2022 Rankings

Anglin at 97 rated over Epps. For all those asking why some were sweating not getting a guy ranked 170. He was crminally underanked and he's a great shooter. 97isn't 327 but a huge jump nonetheless and shows why some solid schools were after him.

hmmm, cam whitmore now up 79 spots to 22. hmmm.
and even tho alex jumped 66 spots to 75, they're still way, way off on 'hondo,' as pops calls him. dude is goldmoney. garuntee.
alex and donovan together- scary good. noice.
of course, kyle now number 5. experts. as if....

Glad to see the rankings jump. However, the thing I care about the most if the Coach Hurley and Staff ranking.
Nonetheless, sweet to see some nice rankings w/ UCONN recruits.
Kind of getting used to it now.

Meant 97 isn't 37....where is the edit function?

Not that it matters but they said they were going to make DC a 5-star… boo to them not quite doing it

.-.
That isn't a Duke jump.... well, he probably would have gotten it. But the Kid deserves it. Everyone who saw him in NEPSAC 2 years ago knew he was a 5 star.
Yea he was going to move up. Not sure if he would be top 5 if t wasn't Duke, KU or KY.

Usually yes. Not there for that post. Not a big deal...
That's strange. I do notice that recently the Edit function for each post goes away very quickly. Used to be there for many hours and now after about an hour it's gone. Wondering if anyone knows why that has changed?

Thought it might go up a bit higher, but at the end of the day it matters less than what we all hope the class' impact is on our results. :)
I think UConn should be ahead of FSU but not sure they could move up any higher. Crazy bounce back class for Greg McDermott at Creighton after putting his foot in his mouth and losing TyTy Washington. To get the #7 class in the nation after all of that is nuts.

Updated 2022 ESPN Rankings:
Karaban: 42
Clingan: 59

I believe this is the highest I have seen Karaban ranked to date, and this seems a little lower on Clingan than most sites. Still impressive rankings regardless.

ESPN has Karaban higher than all the other rankings because Adam Finkelstein, who is one of the recruiting analysts there, has seen Karaban play more than any of the analysts and loves him.

Zion Cruz (previously a 5*) is now down to #56 on ESPN's rankings. Down 37 spots. Holy fall.

I’m gonna take these rankings with a grain of salt. The amount of 20+ jumps or drops is odd

I think the last update was from May which was before all these kids really started playing again, and definitely before media had full access to all the events again. So not surprised at big falls/jumps when it's the first time seeing these kids in 12+ months

I don't think it's that odd. As a matter of fact I think it's a good thing. The right thing to do. As mentioned above many of the recruiting analysts weren't able to see these kids play a lot until this summer. So now that they've seen they can rank more appropriately. That's much better than sticking to their prior rankings just because.

Fair, I was under the impression they updated like every month, that explains that then.
