Tame Impala, whose 2015 album Currents was easily one of my absolute favorites of the past few years, has new music out, with a new album hopefully to follow soon.

Haven't really heard anything I've loved yet that was released this year. So I'll defer to last October's Kurt Vile release, "Bottle It In".

Will also throw in J. Mascis latest solo effort, "Elastic Days", also from late 2018.

Pixies have a new album coming out in June. I saw them on tour with Weezer recently and I think I heard at least one of the new songs and it was pretty good.

New Chemical Brothers is pretty good, album here.

Thanks for the shoutout @Mano . Everyone please keep in mind that the songs I have up on my SoundCloud are recorded live into a device that is slightly better than your phone. It is live with no ability to remix. My band just had our first “studio” session.

I love this thread. I am very interested in what people are listening to. Since I started writing songs as a hobby I tend view music as something I want to incorporate or juxtapose.

Bunch a stuff I like came out just last year. Mostly rock/blues stuff. But this is coming out soon, I think the end of this month.

Foals' previous stuff has been largely hit and miss for me, but their album that came out a couple months ago was pretty decent. Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part 1, Part 2 comes out sometime in Q4 later this year.
