Was listening to Pandora at work the other day and a commercial for Mini Plan Tickets was played. When you clicked the Ad it brought you to the ticket website to purchase.

Brings up a point here...can someone please tell the chuckleheads in the UConn athletic department that our Colors are White and Blue. Not Red, white & blue.

I guess the red needs to come off the helmets as well. Some people don't realize that our colors are blue and white and a LITTLE bit of red.

Well, not true, exactly...the UConn Board of Trustees has had 130 years to add Red to the University's official colors. To date they have not chosen to do that. Susan & Warde have decided on their own that they like red, well they've been told by Nike they like red, and have made it far more ubiquitous than it ever was. It occasionally appeared as an outline/highlight on a uniform in the past, basketball had a red stripe incorporated and a minimal outline on names & numbers, over the years it has been used sparingly on band uniforms, and football uniforms. But the current usage far exceeds anything we did in the past. I for one will be happy to see Warde hit the road and will hope he is replaced by someone with a little respect for the university's traditions.

Red has been an accent color for years. Before WM and SH. I suggest you finally let it go.

Watch the videos that Santini posted. Where is red used as a primary color? Tell me where it's used anywhere other than as an outline or accent?

You are entitled to not like it, but at least be intellectually honest and admit that it has nothing to do with Nike forcing anything down our throats and that it predates the folks you have a vendetta against.
