We've got Geno and they don't. ?UConn now number one!
UConn, Stanford, Baylor and Maryland are the top four, with South Carolina fifth. That seems accurate. What is Baylor's rating? Should be low because they haven't beaten anyone good.
I will say it now. The Baylor game will be the national championship game. Yes, the Stanford game will be tough but I like our chances in championship games.
Agree. I said it before the Tourney. Baylor ended their season playing like a #1seed and they continue to improve. If they beat UConn, they win it all. What is Baylor's rating? Should be low because they haven't beaten anyone good.

Massey ratings, of which I am a fan, appear off to me this year. The absence of OOC games hurt a lot. Intraconference games just seemed to reify the 2020 data.Oregon #7? The problem with some of these metric services is they don't always show enough of the recent trend and without their Point Guard, Oregon has lost 4 of 6. The eye test of this current rendition is not top 7. I will be rooting for the Ducks today against Georgia but I am not convinced they are as strong as Massey is indicating.
This is good news. Massey ratings rarely wrong as a predictor.UConn now number one!
Proof of this? This is good news. Massey ratings rarely wrong as a predictor.
Ursin playing like a senior! So happy for her!Baylor is very good, and playing peak basketball right now. So is UConn. Should be a good game (assuming they both advance of course), but definitely not a guarantee for either team.
Moon Ursin is killing it right now.
Agree that Baylor is playing great right now, as is UConn. There are similarities between the 2 teams. Specifically, they both play tremendous defense and they both dominated relatively weak conferences.Baylor is very good, and playing peak basketball right now. So is UConn. Truly one of the great mysteries of modern science, how Oregon is in the top 10 of both Massey and NET.Oregon #7? Underplayed point about the NET is that it incorporates something called "offense efficiency" (whatever that means). Massey has offense & defense ratings as well. Perhaps Ducks are highly efficient?Truly one of the great mysteries of modern science, how Oregon is in the top 10 of both Massey and NET.
It seems more accurate than the selection committee awarding NC State a #1 seed (4th) & Texas A&M (5th) ahead of Baylor & Maryland. Massey has Texas A&M ranked12th & NC State ranked 8th.UConn, Stanford, Baylor and Maryland are the top four, with South Carolina fifth. That seems accurate.
Yup. Whoever wins the River Walk Elite 8 wins it all, assuming UConn & Baylor are playing... but also if Michigan and Iowa make it past these two, I'd give them a good chance of winning it all too.Agree. I said it before the Tourney. Baylor ended their season playing like a #1seed and they continue to improve. If they beat UConn, they win it all.
I believe NC State is third and Maryland is fifth, but it is very confusing. It seems more accurate than the selection committee awarding NC State a #1 seed (4th) & Texas A&M (5th) ahead of Baylor & Maryland. Massey has Texas A&M ranked12th & NC State ranked 8th.
