How about UCONN vs PC on the ice @ MSG? The Big East owns NYC ;) If Harvard and Cornell can play there, why can't we?

PS even make it a doubleheader with the women if necessary

Hockey East and Big East are comparing apples to oranges. I don't believe the conferences are under the same umbrella so to speak. ( It's Uconn, not UCONN, by the way.;) )

Argue whatever you incorrectly wish to argue, but the University of Connecticut’s specified-standard in written and typed form is UConn. Good, bad or indifferent, exceptions obviously exist with jerseys, helmets, logos, etc. ‘tis fact!

Playing PC will have a lil extra juice now and hopefully more fans at home games. Keep as many in CT as you can.

A once or twice thing is OK.

A double header of either basketball team and hockey game @ home vs PC would catch some needed $$$

Cornell has an ENORMOUS alumni base in NYC who put 10K+ for their hockey games at MSG and Harvard is one of their biggest historical rivals in hockey, that's how Cornell-Harvard puts a big crowd in there.

UConn-PC would not sell well at MSG, it's better played at home sites to give the home fans a fun game given the schools' history in other sports. UConn hockey is better off continuing to build the home fan base in their own facility than playing one-off neutral site games outside the state.

UConn Providence will either become a draw or it won’t regardless of where the basketball team plays. Hockey is probably the most independent fan base there is. BC is probably the biggest draw but the Friars Arvin the next group for sure. A few big upsets or really good games and it could develop into a true rivalry. But that would happen if the hoop team played in the Big East. The Big 10 Big 12 or Little 3. If found that few basketball fans even get hockey. They can’t understand how you can have a great game with 1 goal or how you can have 6 guys but not score 100 points.

No one in NYC cares for PC hockey. They'd care maybe a bit more for UConn hockey.

Didn't we play Army at Barclays?

I think it was Notre Dame.
