One thing people have tended to not understand in commenting here is that a court will generally look solely to the language of the contract in resolving a contractual dispute unless there is some ambiguity. So what does the contract say? Does it say that there's no buyout required if the NCAA finds that there's a violation of NCAA rules, or does it say that there's no buyout required if there's a violation of NCAA rules.
