New Haven Preview

Love these write ups but they do create a bit of trepidation heading into the games. Perhaps a writeup of the current UConn team that could be pinned to the board so that we can relate your write-ups to our own team.

“The NE-10 has been playing like the NBA for 30 years,” says Hotaling. “I don’t think the teams in that conference have played that way because they necessarily wanted to, but out of necessity — it’s just harder to get taller, athletic, physical players at that level. Those guys are usually being picked up by the North Carolinas and Dukes of the world.

Even in our own state we get little respect.

Might be the time to go with double bigs!

I think we will win easily but maybe by 23ish points

  • Never know how the fouls will be called
  • Not sure yet if Tarris is playing
  • They have some decent players 6'7" up so their best dude might put up 20

Their gym is only 1000 seats? Our high school gym is much bigger than that.

“Honestly, it was very intentional,” Hotaling said. “UConn is the standard in our state both in men’s and women’s basketball. They have had great coaches and unbelievable players, and they run great programs. Across the country, UConn is synonymous with basketball excellence."

I’ll be there Friday. Very curious how they do against Columbia.

@Hey Adrien! does a great job with these previews. Very appreciative. But every one of them, no matter how bad the other team is, makes it sound like the opponent is a serious threat to give the Huskies a beating. Lol
You take away the incorrect message.

Tho opponents are precisely as he has portrayed them.

We need ro read, digest, and then appreciate the dominant team being constructed this season.

Seriously!
