I'm happy to report that John Molina, aka AllAmerRedHeads, is going to be inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame.

Many of you know John personally and are familiar with his work, but for the few who are not, John became interested in women's basketball when he learned his grandmother played for a Connecticut team, and decided to do some research. A little research turned into a massive obsession, and he became interested in all aspects of women's basketball history, especially the All American Redheads team. He was the driving force behind the induction of that team into the Basketball Hall of Fame, the first women's team ever inducted in the HOF.

John will be inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame for the enormous work he has done in connection with the Redheads.

Thank you. Very humbled by this. what a great sport we follow. Not only do many of us watch and go to games we have done some extra things to try and bring more recognition and awareness to it as well.

Congrats Phil. you do some outstanding work. I hope at the next induction others here will be recognitionized as well. Nan, Helen and David just to mention a few.

I will be doing an exhibit on the All American Red Heads but I plan on this being my last. I'm not sure if retiring is the correct word as this has all been voluntary but its time for a new chapter in my life.

18 years, around 25,000 artifacts and easily 10,000 hours...nevermind the.$$. Traveled around the country met and even had dinner with some of the greatest names in the game.

Being on stage with the All American Red Heads as they were being presented by Dr J for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame was a pinnacle moment

As I said. ...what a great sport. an awesome journey...
