Sooo smooth. Love this kids game. Should transition well into the college game.

Did I see a little Kemba step back there starting around 49s?

Kid has more handle than I thought. Hopefully Ollie can teach him to play D, and he will be a stud.

I love his midrange game, the tight handle for someone his size, and creativity off the bounce and setting up others. If he can hang on defense, he should see some big minutes out of the gates.

Imagine spreading the floor in 15-16 with adams, t sam, purv, dham and ab... offensively that lineup could score 80 per and defensively we could just funnel opponent's into ab and force teams to make the extra pass to their 4-5 guys who typically have questionable hands or make tough mid range shots.

Better handle than any prior UConn player at his size, plus excellent vision for passing. He will bring a lot of intangibles to the table!

Is he really 6'8? It doesn't seem like it, but whatever he is, I'm happy with it.

Hamilton is 2 or 3, no way he plays 4

i was thinking kevin martin/will barton

On a UCONN fan site, no make that THE UCONN fan site, Daniel clearly, at a similar age, plays alot like his sirname namesake, one Richard "Rip" Hamilton, specifically the great mid-range game and, it must be said, an aversion to defense. Hope we see similar end results while Daniel is in Storrs!

At 24 seconds that abrupt sot in the lane and one foot mid ranger is beautiful……..love his game!

It's seriously a crime that Hamilton didn't make the McD's game this year. I think he has the game to be a one and done, and a lot of that depends on how our postseason goes. For the record I'm perfectly fine with any UConn player leaving early after a final four run :)

Shabazz measured out at 6' and change in shoes at the combine. Boat is no part of 6'.

I remember hearing in the fall that Hamilton measured 6'8" without shoes so I don't think it's that far off. I remember Jerry Meyer tweeting about it, but I'm not going to try and dig through old tweets. I have a life outside of the Boneyard!!!

No way Daniels could play the 5, yet that was our crunch time lineup in both games at the Final Four.

Hamilton certainly won't be our regular 4, but when we go small - he could very well be in some sort of a combo forward alignment with, say, a rejuvenated Omar at the 3-4. Or Purvis at the 3. Won't work against everyone, but I'm sure we'll see it.
