Recruiting is based upon potential to play at a high level in 2-3 years and not production in high school. It's actually a disadvantage in high school to be 6'6" + because it's almost impossible to fill out that size frame in high school and yet there is a leverage disadvantage. The leverage disadvantage is made up for with overall mass in college.
