Recruited by Rutgers as well. Was at their game vs. Michigan.

Looks like a nice get. He seems to be the most explosive out all of the potential WR recruits.

Nice! With the dearth of talent on the current roster (particularly at skill positions), I have to believe that a lot of these players can compete for immediate playing time. This is likely one of the staff's key selling points for some of these recruits.

Welcome to the Dog Pound, Hergy!!!

If he's the 4th WR, who is being moved? I count 6 WRs.
Battle, Beals, Mayala, McLean, Terry and Williams.

Terry will be a FS. Williams will be a OLB.

I actually think the dearth of talent is on the lines...not the skill positions. Looking at this class it still looks lean on OL.

But...he looks like a great addition to the team. I love the excitement that recruits bring to the program.

Good get by UCONN and HCBD.

Welcome to UCONN, Hergy

Highlights are highlights but nice hands and great focus on the ball. Welcome aboard!

Coincidentially ... that's the way our OLine recruiting tracks in past years.

Check out when William Beatty committed or Zach Hurd?

WE ARE ... a Developmental Program. Diaco just said it; Edsall screamed it. We have to watch the Big Kids play their Senior year. We like to see growth and skills that Fall. The ones that go to Clemson or Auburn are tagged mid-way through their Junior years. I don't find anything but status quo for not having OLine guys committed at this point. I bet WE have them targeted. And Cespedes - for example - was probably not on the radar this time last year.

Did you mean to put this in the Cespedes thread?

NOPE

Answering the Shaky post above. You get more skill guys committed earlier. You usually see most FBS have a QB by June. You get some states earlier than others ... Florida late. RBs you may also watch their SR season.

OLine - we watch them in the Fall of their SR year.
