If I recall (and it's been about a 1/2 decade), There are school sponsored graduate apartments over there, housing mostly international TAs. I know the campus has boomed, expansion wise, but they need to be careful not to displace those who choose to do their higher-higher education at UConn from overseas. With the emphasis on research, they've probably already addressed it, but still...Hockey Arena and Mixed Use Development down by South Eagleville and 195 in the near term strategy (2015-2020)

It looks like the near term strategy is to turn the turn field into a parking lot, then in mid and long term plans have it as a track again.![]()
Way to be a . You're forgiven. How hard did it take to think of this as your post? I'm sure they will all be homeless and run back to their international countries and tell generations to follow that UConn knocked down the lousiest dorms at the school all for campus development. The horror.
Or the far more realistic alternative that they will move into one of the new dorm projects also listed.

Thanks. I graduated in 1999, so yeah, things change. Don't tell that to Specialisthusky thoughMansfield apartments. It actually had undergrads when I was there in 2009.
The Mansfield Apartments are considered on campus housing and I lived there in 2002. Nice place and a lot of undergrads. Would be surprised if they got rid of them but there might be enough housing around campus now that they find them outdated/too costly to maintain? Or the arena is going to be next to them?If I recall (and it's been about a 1/2 decade), There are school sponsored graduate apartments over there, housing mostly international TAs.
