Anyone have any luck scoring an NES Classic? They seem to be more rare than Uconn touchdowns...

I'm eyeing one as well... just not looking super hard. Would love to introduce my kid to it in a couple of years.

Definitely get this if you guys do manage to find one. A 3 ft cord with the stock controller is pretty ridiculous

If you have a laptop you can play every NES game ever made on a bunch of emulators - and can save your progress without the cartridge dying!

I have my original Nintendo 64 up at our house in Vermont. My daughter loves playing the old games. Not sure why people are going nuts for the "classic" when you can pick up used N64s on ebay. You know they'll re-release the 64 next Christmas.

Yeah but... it's not the same lol.

I've kept one 19 inch tube TV around solely to someday repurchase my old gaming systems. We'll see if I ever get around to it.

.-.
Not to mention there are a bunch of NES/SNES/Famcom emulator systems that take the original cartridges that work fairly well. You can pick up old carts at flea markets and tag sales for a song. The NES Classic is missing a lot of key games.

yeah dont understand why this is such a hot commodity, you can easily get the emulators and roms for the past 15 years

Anyone having any luck at all here? Seems to have been no shipments since before xmas.

BrickSeek was on the money... said there were 3 at Target in NB today, it was right on... all 3 were sold as soon as they opened (I got #2 :) )
