Brawling Cincinnati seem to live and die with the three since the fight

Where's Ed Nelson? Maybe the Wolf can throw a few to the ground....

Aren't we last in the Big East? And we allowed this Cinci team to shoot 42% when we knew that was really their major recipe to winning given they play a 4 guard offense. To get burned by something that is obviously coming and a continued weakness that shouldn't be is frustrating to watch.

Well, can't stop a team that is making contested shots/banked shots. Again the defense was much better in the second half. I think Napier and Lamb conserve themselves a bit on defense in the first half, with Boatright out.

They were 4-12 in the second half from 3. They cooled off considerably just not enough.

Bazz was a Tale of Two Cities tonight - great clutch plays and Dyson-like mistakes. In particular, he was caught in between on defense after bad gambles to steal the ball or double teaming the wrong guy.

The law of averages suggested that Cinci couldn't possibly hit another contested three, but it was just one of those damn frustrating nights. It does seem a bit of a coincidence that every team ends up hitting a season high from 3 against us.

To wrest the momentum and game back only to go down like that makes the loss even tougher to stomach.

This team is not on the road to winning games when our PG is taking 7 more shots than the next guy.

The defensive 3 pt fg% is the definition of insanity - keep doing the same stuff and expecting same results. I just don't understand how when you have an anchor/shot blocker on the inside and such length all over the floor, how you consistently get burned by the 3. They're just lazy defensively.

4 guard lineup killed them. Big guys on guards was a disaster

For a sophomore PG, Shabazz is fantastic. Unfortunately, he still makes young mistakes.
