Need help from the 5 position

Our centers, all three of them played very poorly tonight. KO is looking for someone to step up mainly defensively. No one did. Offensively no help either. Any team watching the film of this game should go inside on every play against us. They continue to let the O player get way too deep in the lane. If their centers were a little bit more experience they would have had a field day. Nolan and AB are just way too weak! We have to hope in the tour. we do not play teams with big powerful centers or power forwards.

My opinion is that Brimah should consider fronting a lot of the centers who are pushing him under the rim. Sure, you give up some rebounding position, but the other option is to give up lay-ins and and-ones and draw a foul every 2 minutes. Front them, deny the entry pass, and have weak side help swing over quickly if a guard attempts an entry pass over Brimah's lengthy span.

Any time I defended guys who were beefier than me (many) with less vertical (most) and who weren't too much taller and who wanted to push me under the rim to "get position," I'd just front them. Most guards weren't capable of making the pin point lob pass required to get it over me. Better than getting bulled to the rim and then having to defend from 3 feet.

Teams will adjust and swing the ball baseline making the entry pass to the offensive player who will already have Brimah sealed. If I were Mick Cronin I would be begging for that strategy.

Nolan and AB are just way too weak!

Ollie needs to open the doors to the new strength coach. It is quite obvious when looking at other teams that we are not keeping up with modern strength training, something is clearly missing and it needs to be fixed, thankfully we now have a guy who can fix it.
