Maybe, but Butler might be back by then and against every other team in the country she's great. And she might be great against them, she didn't really play last year in those games. So we'll see!

Very nice 2nd quarter. I would expect teams that are good and well coached to keep it close early on in games depending on how well they match up with us, but they have no answer for Stewie (no team does).

Ragged half by Nurse though. Lots of fouls and her shot is off. Still disappointed that KLS is unable to put the ball in the hoop. Is the game too fast for her at this point (not watching the game)... Glad to see Chong in early and making a contribution.

Even the most well-coached team can't keep up with the Huskies' conditioning. It's incredible.

Nurse is trying to make too much happen, she should try her pull up jumper instead of always going for the layup.

Yes, this Jessica Shepard. This is her 5th game.
She will improve with time. Hopefully, we get a true center soon.

I am afraid KLS will be a disappointment for some time.
Does anybody know what circumstances caused her to leave USA basketball team in summer while Collier matured?
I heard some murmur about a sick mother.

Her mother was sick. Shepard is completely out of gas and isn't even fighting for rebounds anymore. Gabby is outplaying her on both ends.

KLS isn't a disappointment!! Geez. Tough crowd here. She needs a breakout game with her shooting and she'll be fine. It takes time to adjust to the next level, and she has played two real games so far. She actually does a lot of good stuff out there, she's a good rebounder and doesn't turn the ball over frequently.
