Yes- we'll agree to disagree- she kicks her foot out into her ankle joint in a totally unnatural athletic move IMO.

Actually, watching it carefully I am not sure how much was ankle roll and how much was slop and slippage within the shoe itself. The ankle turns but there is a lot of shifting within the shoe.

Both players are leveraging outward to gain speed like a skater on ice. Very normal motion for both.
