On it as usual Dillon. In the 2008-09 seasaon, Louisville was the runner up in the NCCA tourney. In 2009-10, they went 14-18 and did not make the NCAAs. They played in what was the initial National Basketball Invitational, losing in the first round. (For what it's worth, that NBI tourney was won by Appalachian State, as as the last one.)

Our situation in 2009-10 had some similarities to the current ND situation. Angel McCoughtry and Candyce Bingham graduated and went to the WNBA. The returning starting point guard, Deseree Byrd, played only six games. Two backup bigs were injured. A promising 2008-09 freshman transferred.
That was a tough season, but we recovered and were back in the championship game in 2012-2013. I forget....who was it that beat us that year?![]()

The UConn men’s team did it after they won the championship in 2014. They made it to the NIT in 2015 and ended up losing in the first round.Does anyone know if any other teams had made it to the championship game and not even made it to the Ncaa's the following year like ND this year ( unless they win the ACC championship) Ha Ha!
