ND vs. Chattanooga far different from UCONN's game...

ND blew them out in the 1st quarter - taking a 26 to 12 lead, and then played fairly evenly for the rest of the game outscoring Chatty by 7 total points over the final 3 quarters combined.

Chatty played UCONN somewhat close in the first half - down by only 12 after 2 quarter. But UCONN lowered the boom outscoring them by 25 in the 2nd half...

No real conclusion to draw from it - just interesting that the 1st and 2nd halves were very different in comparing ND to UCONN...

I have no handle on ND at all this year and this report just underscores my befuddlement. I do feel that their athleticism has diminished over the last 2 years and their recruiting for shot makers has left something out of the equation.

From the boxscore, it looks as if the bench didn't contribute a lot.
