Panthers take a 3-0 lead on a 45 yard FG. I just can't get into this game at all (maybe I would if i quit switching between games).

Northeast football kind of stinks right now.

Pitts/Syracuse/Penn State/UConn/BC.... what a basket of crap. That touchdown run from Notre Dame was an embarrassment.

Who the hell is doing the play-by-play? Sounds like Gus Johnson on speed.

Looked like the back was gassed after 15 yards and was slowly galloping all the way to his td. Poor tackling.

I like Todd Graham. Once Pitt gets used to the O, and he gets players to fit the scheme, they are going to be very good.

Notre Dame makes one back breaking mistake after another. It's painful.

Going for 2 up 5 in the 3rd quarter is idiotic.

boring game but better than Maryland vs. Temple debacle

The Fighting Independants put a nice drive together for the score and 2 pt conversion. 15-12 ND.

Eh. 1 stop and they will get the ball and only need 3. It's almost a shame someone has to win. This was brutal.

Its been a while since I have seen a team have so many boneheaded turnovers in the red zone like Notre Dame. Oof. That team has a ton of talent, but they sure get stupid when they get near the end zone.

Agreed, but they pointed out on the broadcast that their remaining schedule isn't too bad. USC at home and at Stanford are their only difficult games left (although every game can be difficult if you turn the ball over as much as they did).

I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish at 9-3. Because of their sweet deals, that might even get them picked for a BCS game they don't deserve.

All they have to do is finish top-8 to get a BCS bid right?

You sir, are correct. They have 2 more "tests" on their schedule, USC and @ Stanford.

I hope they get screwed and finish 9th.

Well, they are guaranteed a spot Top-8. They are eligible if they are top 14.

If they are eligible, they will be selected.

They have the talent to be winning a lot more than they have been. They just make stupid mistakes at the most inopportune times. If they limit those, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they run the table.

Ya, then they take the Champs Sports bowl. I hope they spit the bit a few times and finish 6-6.

They wouldn't go to the Champs Sports Bowl if they finish BCS 9th, they'd certainly be selected for a BCS game. Top 14 is eligible.
