Several close games tonight, but just one upset (so far): Ole Miss over #18 Georgia, 55-52

Bad call on Rutgers.

Flagrant foul on Canty and I just don't see how. It was clearly a play for the ball. No intent

Officials have got to get control of this game or it's going to get out of control. Mincy just pulled copper to the floor with intent

So Turner is pretty good....dropped 29 points, 18 rebounds, 7 blocks against one of the ACC's best post players in Mavunga while limiting her to 5-15 shooting. If Turner was a better free throw shooter she would've had 30+.

I know; Lucy Carmichael Auditorium only seats ~ 8,000 and they never fill it.

I think its great that they have their own separate arena...... one of the few WCBB programs that do.

Sounds like Princeton will move up a few steps next week...

watched the Rutgers-MD game. MD is better than I thought.

I feel like I know what the answer will be, but is Maryland really that much better or is the B1G not that good? (Granted I think the play across the league is a lot stronger than previous years)

A little of both.

Note BIG10 is highest ranked conference in Sagarin, though that's partially a result of the bottom of the conference (sans Penn St) being decent.
If you restrict it to just the top half of each conference, it's
1) ACC 90.7
2) SEC 89.1
3) B12 88.0
4) PAC 87.5
5) B10 87.0
6) AAC 84.4

Since they don't draw well, it's good. Our old arena only seats 12,401 so it isn't nearly big enough to accommodate this season's WBB crowds. I think we will have sellouts for A&M and Tennessee. I thought we were going to for Kentucky, but fell a little short. I've been going to both MBB AND WBB games since high school, so I'm thrilled to see big crowds for WBB. They deserve the same support as the men.

Ah! okay! Thanks for putting it like that. Well it looks like the B1G is continuing to improve over the next few years after this past decade? of less and mediocre competition.

I wasn't expecting Maryland to run the table in the B1G as much as they are.
