Great sport, Dillon77! I confess I was rooting hard for Stanford (whom I normally never root for), but only out of fear of our meeting your ND team in the NC game. Last night was a terrific battle between two great, great coaches, and, considering ND had far more experienced players, Tara more than held her own. Both these teams could be terrors next year.Great to hear! In spite of last night, the sun did come up and we'll be there for next season (and beyond!)

Geno's 5 cell phones are ringing off their hooks (if cell phones had hooks)! But seriously, ND has never ducked UConn; nor vice-versa.

I think Baylor is back on our schedule next season if I'm not mistaken. UConn's out of conference schedule next season is ridiculous. The first couple of months of next season are going to brutal without Stewie, Mo, and Tuck.ND for the next 4. SC for at least the next 2!
Should be fun!
Does Baylor have a home/home with one of the three. I would love for SC to schedule a home/home with Maryland.
We play Texas next season and wrap up a home/home with Ohio State.
Stanford is no peanut. Although they did not beat Uconn as many times in Final four as ND, they sure did Uconn in the final four and regional final. They also stopped Uconn's long winning streak and home winning streak, plus beaten Uconn last season thus prevented a new record for Uconn. In my opinion, they are not less dangerous....Great sport, Dillon77! I agree with that NOW, after watching them last night. Before the game, however, I think most thought ND was far more of a threat this year, esp. as the NC would be effectively on their home court.Stanford is no peanut. not sure what happened last night, Notre Dame looked terrible. They need a physical post player. And learn how to play defense again.
Notre Dame let Stanford get off to the fast start and by the time they dug in, Stanford had enough(and luck) to stay ahead.Brianna Turner was MIA in the first half but came on very strong in the second.

Great News for UConn and WBB.
I believe Texas has non-conference games with Tennessee, Stanford, South Carolina, UConn, and Miss. State.ND for the next 4. SC for at least the next 2!
Should be fun!

Coach McGraw has not ducked UConn during the Big 3's tenure. No way can you accuse her of that. The Big 3 played ND eight times in their four years IIRC, and only in the 2013-14 season which was the first year of the new conference schedule did we not play them in the regular season. So NOW ND wants to play UCONN..With the Big 3 graduating. Geno will probably get a few more calls from coaches willing to schedule the Huskies as he stated.
Can you provide a link to your source?Great News for UConn and WBB.
Here's a source, though you have to scroll down a bit to find the part about the series renewal:Was there a release/link on this? Can't seem to find one...thx, if you do....
HoopsFan21 is right; UConn and Baylor do begin a home-and-home series next season.ND for the next 4. SC for at least the next 2!
