against Denver. 50-15

They are looking pretty good again this year. Before we meet up with them next Saturday, they play Ohio State on Wednesday.

We may be in for our first real test.

Not if they don't have Brianna Turner playing. On the ND Board it was posted that she hurt her shoulder and will be reevaluated Monday.

Seems its the same shoulder she had problems with last year. Popped out in practice. This is not good at all. It could mean surgery.

Also Reimer not playing because of a recurrance of an achilles injury suffered during USA basketball this summer.

If these two are questionable then ND has some serious problems and not just against us.

Every team needs some good luck from any serious injuries.......Looks like ND has some early issues........

Yesterday she posted a picture of her on a jet ski with Mabrey2. So I wonder how serious it can really be. It being the same shoulder is definitely concerning, though.

If Taya is out again tomorrow ND will have a tough time with UCLA.

Reimer and Turner are, according to Coach McGraw, not playing against UCLA tomorrow. If those two are out, we'll have trouble -- not only against UCLA - but just about anyone with talent at the post/forward positions. I liked ND's three-person rotation of Turner-Reimer-Westbeld, but we'd be down to Westbeld and a Kristina Nelson, who is coming back from a year out. Hannah Huffman rebounds bigger than her size but is not an offensive threat. Don't be surprised to see Mabrey2 down low...very versatile and tough kid.

I forget what game I was watching of ND but Westbeld played exceptionally well. Finishing inside as well as making her jump shots. She made the first 6 or 8 points of the game for ND. Reimer did not play that game. ND looked rough.
