Its amazing how every game they always shoot considerably more free throws then their opponent.
I did not think TN was particularly effective at drawing fouls. They are not particularly prone to dribble penetration on offense, are they? This accomplishment will be sorely tested against Tenn on Monday night. I know who'd win that battle if the game were in Knoxville. We'll see what happens in South Bend.

OK, thanks. It will be interesting to see if the normally foul prone Peters has difficulty staying in this game.My point is that Tenn has been pretty successful in drawing more fouls than its opponents over the years, including this year. ND has been able to do same thing both last year and this year. But no, this year Tenn hasn't drawn a lot of fouls on dribble penetration; most have been drawn by its post players (Johnson and Baugh).
In her current role, she doesn't spend a ton of time taking shots that will draw fouls. However, they are already posting her up from time to time, and Geno intimated in the last Geno Show that perhaps they should do that more. If she plays more inside, the fouls will come. She did succeed on getting knocked on her butt on a drive last night, so that's a start.Drawing fouls is one area that KML needs to improve on. She's similar to Maya in that regards. Hopefully KML will do a better job of drawing fouls by her senior year then Maya did.
