ND AD reaction on Realignment

The way I see things .. Notre Dame really only has 3 options now .. the 3rd doesn't look too favorable:

#1) Join the ACC for all non basketball sports and remain football independent (keep NBC contract)

#2) Join the B10 as a fully committed member.

#3) Stay in a Lame duck conference which will not have a part in the 4 way BCS playoff system.

If you are the ACC, why would you do that? They do not add anything to a conference without football. Hasn't their BE experience shown that?

And the cruel irony is if ND has to join a conference it will occur just as its football is beginning a renaissance. I didn't think ND would have to join a conference for football but they are certainly putting all other sports teams they field at risk. It will be interesting to see if they day of reckoning is approaching.
