Cori Close didn’t shake Kara Lawson’s hand before their elite 8 match up. Kara did not throw a tantrum and they lost too lol
A good point made by Andraya and Chiney while being interviewed on PTI, is that if Geno was all about protocol, then he would have been the bigger man and stayed to shake all of the coaches/players hands at the conclusion of the game. But he didn't. So he didn't follow that protocol. Obviously this was his frustration boiling over and nothing more. I'm glad the media is roasting him for this as I was scared they would defend his temper tantrum.

While Coach Staley didn't shake his hand at half court after that announcement, she did shake his hand during pregame, which to me implies that there was no ill will and she probably was distracted by something else (it is the final four after all), and didn't hear the announcement to meet Geno at the half court line.

I'm also getting tired of the physicality allegations whenever we have a dominating win against his team. It's becoming a pattern and a tiring one...

Becoming? This has been standard practice for a while in my opinion.

Geno’s lost six of nine this decade, all by 14 or more. The only game close enough to be decided by calls was a 4 point UConn home win, and you should have seen the Carolina boards after that one. Had the Paige Bueckers injury + decision to take a 5th year not given him three #1 overall picks, it would be 7 or 8 to 1.

Either everyone in WBB is out to get you, or you are long overdue for giving someone else sincere credit.

Oh, true. A post in another thread reminded me. I did suggest in another comment about a week ago that UCLA/Texas was the real championship game. And Texas was definitely more in the game than South Carolina ever was. So, I feel pretty good about my earlier statement.

(I also said Arizona/Michigan was the real championship for the men. And I was wrong on that one. We don’t need to talk about that one though.)
