Tonight's loss was embarrassing but I would throw away the tape. Time to move on...

Projected Big East tournament seeds:

UConn (2)
St. John's (4)
Villanova (9)

My bet is that our first round opponent is one of the following: Siena, UMBC, Queens, Idaho or Kennesaw State/Louisiana Tech.

If we face a #7 seed in the tournament, these will be the likely opponents: Louisville, Kentucky, UCLA, St. Mary's, Clemson, or Miami

Our goal is to win a national championship. Anything less than that is failure. Doomed!

Other Big East team expectations:

St. John's: get out of the first weekend
Villanova: win a game

Rooting interests:

1. UConn
2. Other Big East teams
3. Against Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, Indiana, Florida, and Louisville
4. Cinderellas
5. Chaos

Under/over number of games I have a perfect bracket: 2.5

You can’t pay me to root for St. John’s. Their type of ball won’t travel anyways. Watch last year to see. I can root for Nova, and think they’d be interesting if they’re a 9 and draw Duke in round 2. Sans Foster and Ngongba, I could see Brennan doing a decent job on Boozer and their guards causing trouble. Gotta get there first..:

Other teams I’m fading hard; UVA hasn’t been a good team all year and might be a 3 or 4. First round exit. Please quote this later.
Arkansas is an Akron away from a first round exit.
UCLA if they get an EST time zone might be packing early too

With the way injuries are piling up all over the country the tournament is becoming more wide open than previously thought. It’s clear Duke and Michigan are not the same team since the injuries were sustained. Arizona Bradley hurt his wrist and though the coach said he was relieved about it after the X-rays were negative that could be just coach speak. Silas needs to be healthy. For us to make a run, we all remember 2000 and how KEA going down ended tourney early.

Zero chance Nova can beat Duke. Nova will be lucky to win their first game.

Nah, Rick Pitino and the conference can lick my taint. Not rooting for them
