Yeah because nothing says excitement like the 12th team from the B10 playing #14 from the B12. Especially if both have losing records. But strength of schedule. Strength of schedule. Wins and losses are so last Century.64 was perfect. I'm assuming only the P4 conferences were complaining about it so they could squeeze more teams in around the automatic qualifiers?
Yep. And all one of these #14 teams need to do is pull one lucky tourney win out of their crapper to justify the expansion.Yeah because nothing says excitement like the 12th team from the B10 playing #14 from the B12. He said the tournament is unlikely to grow any bigger than 76 because of the limited window they have to schedule games between the time when conference championships end and coverage of the Masters begins.Just go to 96 and save us all the wait. This inch by inch nonsense is awful. You are bound and determined to wreck the tournament. Just get it over with. First round byes to the SEC, ACC,Big10 & 12.
There is almost a week between conference championships and the tournament start... with 128 teams, it's just 1 more game. Can easily squeeze one in.He said the tournament is unlikely to grow any bigger than 76 because of the limited window they have to schedule games between the time when conference championships end and coverage of the Masters begins.

This Makes No Sense. Going to 96 would take the same 2 days that the Dayton Games take now.He said the tournament is unlikely to grow any bigger than 76 because of the limited window they have to schedule games between the time when conference championships end and coverage of the Masters begins.

Just make it the Field of 150.
They always find room to add more. If it means $$$$, they'll just start the season earlier. He said the tournament is unlikely to grow any bigger than 76 because of the limited window they have to schedule games between the time when conference championships end and coverage of the Masters begins.
512. bring in the top D2 and D3 teams256. First weekend at the highest seeded team's site.
Yeah that's not bad, but I just want them to stick to 68 teams. Not that these guys like Charlie Baker and other execs give a fukk about my thoughts on tournament expansion.either 72 or 76 works makes sense.
first make the other two 16 seeds play-ins. that's 70 teams. then make the other two 11 seeds play-ins. that's 72. and then make all four 10 seeds play-ins. thats 76.
of course whichever seed lines are play-ins will change every year depending on where the last 8 bubble teams get seeded. usually tho it will be the 11 and 10 seeds.

It’s really not that simple. This Makes No Sense. Going to 96 would take the same 2 days that the Dayton Games take now.
It’s not just 1 more game, it’s twice as many games. You’re basically playing 2 current tournament’s worth of games. There is almost a week between conference championships and the tournament start... with 128 teams, it's just 1 more game. Can easily squeeze one in.
Not a math guy? 2^7 =128. 2^6=64. It’s literally 1 game. It’s not just 1 more game, it’s twice as many games. You’re basically playing 2 current tournament’s worth of games.
