NCAA Matchups to Watch

The Utah/LSU has to be the best game of the upcoming weekend. Great opportunity for the team that wins that game.
I hope LSUs shooting actually shows up. They have been horrendous so far this post season. The sad thing is they are getting lots of great looks. Even Reese with her outstanding play has missed a 100 layups and Ladazhia Williams was working hard to outdo her In the missed layup contest

Biggest disappointment by far is Alexis Morris. For a sixth year senior and first team all SEC player, she hasn’t done anything or shown up looking ready to play most of both the first and 2nd rounds

I still stand by this statement, the home crowd helps but I find lsu has looks more focused and locked in playing on the road or neutral court than I ever see them at home. Why? Not sure but it’s apparent if you watch the games…

Sometimes I think having the home crowd is a distraction for them. I know they love the support, but sometimes playing to the crowd takes them away from their gameplans.

I agree

I will say LSUs defense was outstanding. The work they did on Brown and Kiser was terrific. Held them to 7 combined points on 3-14 shooting. No one could get an open look. Phelia made some very hard shots but she’s a great player

Van Lith involved in a testy exchange? I'm shocked

She won the pr battle though, so good for her.
Sometimes that happens. In the first tOSU- Maryland game there was some testiness between Diamond Miller and Thierry in the line at the end of the game.

I will be curious to see how VaTech and Tennessee manage each other. VaTech has better guard play and the dominant post but Tennessee has size to throw at Kitley.

I think the rough schedule that KJH created this year has actually helped the Lady Vols though I don't think any of the LV fans will want to give Kellie any credit for that.

They've already played this year, Virginia Tech only won by 3. I expect Tennessee to win this one.

I give them credit for the scheduling and I don't think that it can ever really hurt to schedule aggressively when you have the talent to be honest.

Can someone in the Carolina area drop off a case of cheerwine and all the greasiest food you can find for Triad?

 Cheerwine would be nice, I have set a state record in the amount of french fries ccnsumed in the past 7 days, so no more greasy food.

Sorry, @triaddukefan but Duke looks to be going down to Colorado. At least UNC lost though, right?

I actually picked Chapel Hill to beat OSU.

Congrats, triad... I'd held that fries-eating record since 1968!;)

I was like... man.... i'm eating too many fries... then I had some last night.... and again tonight for dinner. Terrible losses are bad for my eating habits.
