You're reaching way back into Boneyard lore. Still, in 2000, on the CBS website, it's true that Storrs was voted the most hallowed place in college basketball.

The real dilemma here is who to root for. Kentucky is deserving, probably even over us. But that is just painful. And Purdue was utterly unworthy of even a final four spot. The KU team we ousted was much better than Purdue.

Might as well continue what has now become a joke of a fan voting tourney and vote Purdue. Purdue is maybe a top 30 team of the past decade...but top 2? No way.

Edit: By the way, when you think about it, Purdue is not even a top team of the decade in the Big ten. You can quickly and easily pencil in Michigan and MSU ahead of them as having better teams over the past decade. You could also pencil in Wisconsin without much complaint and might even be able to make an argument for Ohio St. Purdue is 4th best in the B10 at best, possibly even 5th. They have very little success since 2010 in the big 10 when you actually look at what they've done..now we bring in the rest of the nation? Please, not even close. I would have no complaint at all if Duke, UNC or even Kentucky beat out Uconn. Or if Kansas had, maybe even Nova, Msu and Michigan, no real issue. But Purdue is just silly.

He should be able to do 12/8 right out the gate based on pure athleticism but what is his real ceiling when he currently has no shot
