NCAA Hoops - Week of 3/2 - 3/8

2 more games coming down to the wire in the Zombie Big East.

villanova survives Georgetown 70-69. Marquette down 4 late to St. John’s.

just The warmup to seton hall-creighton

The Red Stain survive 88-86. The big East. It’s so competitive and exciting that it’s like Zombies or something.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ZOMBIE?!
I’m pretty sure this guy is using it as irony because some users like to call it the zombie big East since it’s not the same as the OBE, and that it’s not worth going back to the BE because it’s not the same feel. He’s using it to make fun of it in a ironic way since all the games are so good

Florida up double figures on Kentucky. Should lock them in as a Q1 win for us.

Edit- I may have jinxed them into oblivion.

They were up 18 and lost. 3 at the buzzer hit the rim 3 times and rolled out.

Florida still can’t score down the stretch. Same goes for when they played us

Florida is basically us earlier in the season. Nobody to go to at the end of games. 2 terrible offensive possessions in the last minute where they get 0 shots to the rim.

Nembhard who had played very well in the first 38:30, in the last minute and a half missed 3 shots and had a turnover.

Myles Powell and Seton Hall have fallen apart, not a good look for Willard. Looking like another early exit tournament team.

The Boneyard Jinx lives!

Miami gives Cuse their 14th loss of the season. Barring a miracle run in the ACC tourney, there will be no bubble magic for them this year.

I mean this with complete respect to the poster, but I cannot wait until we don't give one about USF vs. Cincy.

Miami without their best player too, Cuse has no chance.

Indiana lost to Wisconsin in a close one. Here’s a factoid - almost 1/3 of the top 25 is B1G with 8 teams, of which most are average at best with 10-11 losses. None in top 10. 7 are holding 16, 18, 19, 20, 23,24, 25 But, no bias in the system.

Tre Mitchell with 30pts and 12rebs for UMass, Umass down 1 with 44 seconds to go

Edit: 32 points now, and Umass is up 1 with 35 seconds to play

Finishes with 34 points, Umass loses as Mitchell commits a soft foul during a clean block. URI sinks em both and wins by 1

Let's go for jynx #3 (after Florida and TCU). Temple killing Cincy at the half. Which is very bad if we wanted to play Tulsa in the AAC 2nd round.

Not really. They just played a backloaded schedule. Look at their conference schedule. All of their games against the top of the league coincided with the "collapse"
