Who is next?

So basically the ncaa has decided this stuff will be punished by saying baaad doggy. But they’ll probably close down MIT because an assistant coach let a player use his Charlie Card...

Just in. All staff and players will have to wear ankle bracelets and report to a probation officer once a week for 2 years.
The NCAA is a joke!

If anyone likes Last Chance U, the most recent season was at a basketball JUCO in LA. Their player with the most potential (KJ Allen) had committed to USC for next year and just recently flipped to Texas Tech. This likely explains why.

So far, USC, OK St, South Carolina and Alabama have receive pretty mild penalties for coaches receiving bribes but, for Auburn, Kansas, Arizona, Louisville, NC State, TCU, LSU and Creighton, where most had multiple Level I charges levied, we still don't know the outcome.

So, is the NCAA:
1. Clearing the docket of the lesser infractions at USC, OK St, SC and AL so they can delve more deeply into the actions of the schools charged with the more serious violations, or:
2. Is the NCAA merely laying a "mild penalty baseline" from which they can justify imposing penalties that are lighter than actually warranted on the "name" schools?
(While thrusting their chests out in pride for getting to the bottom of these serious violations that threaten the integrity of college athletics.)

Think the member schools are just colluding. They know the ncaa had limited investigation budgets and skills. Load up on minor violations Keep the ncaa sleuths busy while the big stuff goes undetected or worse unpunished

Wonder if I'm the only one who read this as, "NCAA hits USC basketball with 2 years probation. OK, fine!"

The Division I Committee on Infractions announced the penalties, which include a $5,000 fine and a 1% loss of the private school’s basketball budget. The probation, which does not include a postseason ban, runs until April 14, 2023.

Because, having kids go to classes and actually getting real grades is much worse than accepting bribes.

Fook you NCAA.
