They don't give a rat crap about ambiance unfortunately, it's all about selling more tickets.

I dont see this changing anytime soon. Like a lot of things its all about the $$$. Next years east regional will be special because its at MSG. I would love to see UConn in the east region next year.

All about selling more tickets. Worse than the ambience is that I think it affects the shooting as has been discussed plenty. But there's no way they're gonna go back to arenas that hold less than 20k from stadiums that can have 70k+.

Stubhub today in Arlington. Tickets for $0.01. No Kansas equals no crowd.

They don't care because they sold them originally. Saw some numbers yesterday that argued against the no one can shoot in domes argument. The level of play in tournament has been low everywhere.

Stauskas didn't seem to care about the large arena. Jeezus he was hot as hell!

Mike DeCourcy (sp?) tweeted stats last night comparing the shooting in the two traditional regional arenas (Staples Center and Verizon Center) vs the domes. No one could throw it in the ocean at any venue.
