According to the NCAA record book, today's barrage of 13 consecutive made THREEs by NC State against Virginia is a new NCAA record, passing the 11 consecutive made THREEs by TCU against Lamar on March 3, 1996.

When you first mentioned the 13 straight threes in the other thread.... i was thinking you meant 13 straight games with a three.

We lead the ACC in THREEs made per game, at around 8. This was the second time this season we've made 14 in a game...but in the last three weeks, we have not been shooting the long range ball that well. (Or even the short-range ball!).

Swerve time: I have been watching UConn Game replays and I did not this before, or probably just forgot it because I was watching games that I watched when they were first televised, but...Kia Nurse once made 12 3s in a row, over 3 games though.

Back to the original thread. And I was watching the State game vs. VA today and it was amazing watching those 3 point shots sinking. Kinda reminded me of Lou against USF a couple of years ago...
