Actually yes, but it wasn’t NC State. 57-57 end of regulation, then VA Tech scored 26.
NC State had to make a last-second 3 to tie it regulation.

NC State was missing Elisa Cunane and VA Tech has played some good teams very close. Not a cupcake situation.

VPI isn't a cupcake... cupcakes are teams like Butler, Georgetown, Xavier, Creighton, Weber State, UNC-G. etc

Va Tech is dangerous with Kitley and Sheppard. Both can really score the ball. Kitley especially has fantastic touch inside and is one of the better offensive posts in the country that doesn't get enough recognition. If they had Mabrey i think they'd be the clear cut 3rd best team in the ACC.
NC State definitely missed Cunane. They're not a top 10 team without her, even with Hobby stepping up her play.
