Hurley is back recruiting so we should get our heads there.

Meleek Thomas, Dwayne Aristode, and London Jemison are listed as there.

I notice a Sam Funches from Mississippi is a 2026 6'11 215lb center !! How time flies.

Other likely namesakes, Jermaine O'Neal Jr & Abdul-Aziz Olajuwon from Texas

You missed Andre Iguodala II for namesakes. At least seems pretty likely lol. Same with Calvin Murphy III and Adonis Ratliff. And Nyale Robinson is the son of Nate, too.

Who are the elite bigs at this camp? Feel like we need to secure one.

Have there been any indications UConn is recruiting Jemison? I can't remember anything about him and UConn. Have they watched him this spring?

Jemison is on Expressions Elite with Aristode and Harrell so I expect they have watched Expressions.
Acuff & Bundalo aren't there due to gold medal team play U-18
Just not much in the way of centers and I don't know their play.
I'd be interested in seeing Kai Rogers 6'10 235 ranked about #70 from WI & Tee Bartlett 6'11 265 CA/NV ranked #56
Neither seems intrinsically in our recruiting areas but at this point everybody would be flattered to get our interest.

This. I really do not want to see folks tucking their tails in fear of Duke, Kansas, Arkansas, Kentucky, or UNC on the BY any longer. Not after the last two years, and especially not after the past 3-4 days.

so who is Hurley focusing on in Orlando?

I'm not sure but there are some ideas in this thread.

I've seen a couple of those guys play in person... Tounde Yessoufou is spectacular! I'm not sure if he works hard enough on the defensive end, though he can really get off the ground quick and swat away shots... But he can be completely amazing on offense. A couple years ago, in his first game as a freshman, he did THIS:

KaBOOM!!

Saw Meleek Thomas leaving his Pittsburgh high school to enroll in Overtime Elite for his senior year. Thought that was interesting - we typically don't seem to be going after those types of dudes but we've already laid the groundwork with him.

Sam & I came to Uconn at the same time in the summer of 1995! We were in the CAP summer program together along with all the freshman players Ricky Moore, Rashmael Jones, & Antric Claibore.

We're pursued some OTE players. Most notably Jakhi Howard. It's really just a prep program at this point. And basically everyone leaves the hometown school. OTE has developed talent pretty well actually.
