We changed our logo!

Bryan Williams just did a clip on the final four and they showed our old logo twice! I guess they aren't fans of the new Husky!!!!

What the .....

I miss the Happy Looking Husky. Not a Fan, of the new Wolf.

I buy a lot of Uconn, shirts sweatshirts, sweatpants, and I refuse to buy anything with the new wolf.

Google insists on using the old logo on their scoreboard as well.

At least be clear when you say you like the old one, that it's a Samoyed and not a Husky.

when i was a kid, my neighbor had a white husky. it looked similar, to our old logo.

Sure, they are similar breeds. They're not the same though, and it looks much more like a samoyed than a husky.

And trust me, I have as much nostalgia for the old logo as anyone else.

They fixed it for the West Coast newscast.

That old logo prevented me from buying gear. I'd buy things with the word mark not that goofy smiling dog. I always felt like I should be toting a man purse and pulling a roller bag through the airport with that logo. It was about as adrenalized as a Eunich

The new logo is not a wolf. I owned an AKC Siberian Husky for 15 years (their max. lifespan). The Siberian has a mask like the logo although the mask varies from dog to dog in density, color and configuration. The all white dog Jonathan is an aberration which I believe is some type of Alaskan Husky bordering on a Malamute depending on its weight. The true Siberian is pound for pound the most powerful beast on the block. During a big electrical storm one time in Balto my Siberian bent two links on a 500 lb. weld strength chain, broke several cement blocks to pieces and flipped a large couch. He did not like thunder and lightning. The Siberian has an excellent disposition and will take alot of guff, but watch out. He has a point of no return. Once my Siberian was constantly harassed by a small dog nipping at my dog's legs. After quite some time the Siberian will rise up on his hind legs, look down askance and strike. The harassing dog had one ear at that point. The Siberian was very protective of "his" two cats and vice versa. The Siberian is very intelligent and will randomly test your trust by engulfing your hand or other body parts with his alligator jaws to check your reaction. With the cats the Siberian would engulf their heads and they dared not move. UCONN has the premiere mascot in sports because the Siberian is the true alpha!
