I didn't realize they changed the entire format. A four time all-star game playoff with young stars, international players, and veterans. Right now they're playing one on one and it's two former UConn women's basketball players Napheesa Collier and Azura Stevens. They missed their first 10 shots, airballing 5 foot jumpers and layups, shot clock violations. They're trying their hardest because there's 200 grand on the line but it's kind of hilarious.

All-star weekend has been a mess for years now, looking forward to seeing Castle and Jackson do their thing.

They should only allow NBA players in the dunk contest, Mac is not in the NBA. Either that or open it up to the entire G league. There are a lot of good G league dunkers I'm sure.

Not part of the WNBA, or NBA all star weekend as far as I'm aware?

It’s basically a lot like the Pro Bowl weekend now.
Should've just kept allstar weekend the way it was adding the rookie vs sophomore allstar game was fine but when you have a draft for that game and the allstar game it just becomes far too gimicky should've just stayed with East vs West.

As far as the pro bowl the more the nfl tries to make changes the worse it gets. It's amazing that the average person can't see what the nfl is subtly pushing and that's flag football, there's no way I'm watching nfl stars play flag football. I totally get why guys skipped out on the bowl but who's gonna watch flag football, they are trying to soften up the game. The nfl is even sponsoring a flag football league.

Castle vs Lebron tomorrow with Chris Mullin coaching. Sign me up!

New format might end up working. Can’t imagine an All Star team letting the G League team embarrass them…
I'm really warming up to the idea. It's a win-win-win
  1. The G League guys are gonna play 100% every game because they're fighting for attention/roster spots
  2. The young guys who already get minutes can prove their abilities leading teams instead of being complementary pieces
  3. The young guys who don't get minutes can prove their skills and show out
Bryce McGowens had a really good first game and already averages 28 a game in the G League. Keep an eye on him later this year/next year to see if he gets a chance. Insane game winner

Steph Castle kept his momentum going by hitting a game winner and assisting on a game winner. He's building his ROY case. He's going to go 100% against the All Stars

I'm excited!

Will be exciting to see Castle vs Leold who is still Legreat.

Lmao LeBron waits until thirty minutes before the game to say he isn’t playing.

I like that they’re doing the Elam scoring versus a timed game for the all star games tonight

Yeah, I don't who thought having teammates elected to the All Star Team playing on opposite sides was a good idea, but FYI, it isn't. If Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns make the All Star Team, I want to see them play TOGETHER.

That segment was awkward as all hell. I'm glad Dame didn't try and the mullet kid hit the shot.
