That Paige is pretty good, huh? And how about Sarah and Azzi? :)

The first column is national ranking, the second column is conference ranking

When you have the best defense and the top three shooters by percentage you most likely are dominating your league. UConn has a high ceiling and I truly think the tournament is theirs to lose this year. Paige and Azzi are both playing good ball and Sarah is chugging along and that is a group that is hard to beat.

That's impressive. When assist to turnovers ratio is that good it leads to slow building leads over the entire 40 minutes. This is the ideal way to win.

Some tend to use the first 5-10 minutes of games as a sign of what's to come. These early minutes are largely irrelevant with a team like this. We will see times when the score is almost tied after the 1st couple of Time outs and you'll see chatter like "oh...[insert team] is gonna give us all we can handle]". But they rarely do, because our A/TO ratio is so darn good that over 40 minutes, non stop efficency can just break you down.

The message: like a good sauce, or a good wine.... be patient. We are not the Beaujolais of basketball.

Although, still not great but the 3pt defense is improving. I think at one point we were in the high 200s so 133 is an improvement.
