#1: St. Mary's

#21 Ossining

Ossining is in the toughest 8-pod at the Nike.
On Thursday they open against Mater Dei....#3 in the land. If they win, they probably get
St. Mary's in the semis. I had hoped Ossining would go 2-1...now I'd settle for 1-2.

BTW: USA basketball has honored Geno and Coach K on the guy-side as 'coach of the year'.
Congrats to Geno.

I don't think Ossining has the size to battle the Bigs of the other teams to make it to the semi's........I would hope for no better than a 1-2.

I'm assuming that Mater Dei still presses all game. It will be interesting to see how Ossining's speed and pace work against that. If Saniya can break the press, her team may have a chance.
