I was at this game and he looked really good.
Was keeping the Celtic's defense honest the whole game. He's a very underrated passer and was getting into the lane at will for most of the game. Had a couple tough calls that didn't go his way either, it was a very chippy game.
Overall I was impressed, he basically split minutes with Russell who's having a real nice season so can't complain. With Spencer Dinwiddie out he took advantage of the opportunity.

He’s about 6’ with a 6’4” wingspan. He doesn’t have Lamb’s go go gadget arms but it’s noticeable and helps in gaurding bigger guys.
Scalabrine and Gorman love him too. Always referencing how he’s a Boston kid but even better how he played college “locally” at UConn.
He had the quickest hands on defense I ever saw for any UConn player.

The Blazers wanted him, they just couldn't afford him. I believe they had a team option to pay Bazz 3.4 mill for this season which put them hard against the salary cap. The Blazers did a salary dump releasing Davis and Napier both of whom ended up on the Nets. Nets win!
Napier has a two year deal worth around 1.9 mill per.

Great showing for your boy tonight! 24pts (8-17) 5-10 from 3, 4ast, 3stl, 3rbs. Yea it was against the lowly Bulls but he's really taking advantage it seems. Nets aren't half bad.
